Final reminder – your Standard Loans are due today

Undergraduates, Masters & Diploma students

All Standard Loan books which you have borrowed this semester are due for return by the end of today – Friday 4 December.

If you wish to keep them for longer, you can renew them at any time before midnight by logging on to your Library record (via Patron functions) in the catalogue. Simply select the books you want to renew, and then click on the “Renew Items” button. Remember – you cannot renew a book if someone else has reserved it, if you have any overdue books, or if you have more than £2.00 outstanding in unpaid fines.

All Standard Loan books borrowed or renewed now are due for return in the first week of next semester – by Friday 15 January 2010.

Final reminder – last day to return your books

If you want to keep your books over the Summer Vacation, just tell the Service Desk staff when you return your books and they will issue the books for the summer.

Early warning – staff & PhD students – your loans due for return/renewal

Reminder to staff & PhD students – remember that as part of our annual stocktaking, you have to return the Standard Loan books you have on loan once a year. This year your books are due back by Friday 1 May. If you want to keep them, just bring them back and we can renew them for you immediately. You can do this anytime from today – and there won’t be long queues if you bring them in now rather than waiting till the day they’re due back!

Remember that you cannot use the renewal function in the catalogue at this time – you must bring in all your books for checking and our staff will then renew them for you.
