We are delighted to announce that Riccarton Library has been given funding to remain open 24 hours a day during the revision and exam periods in Semesters 1 & 2.
24 hour opening will run from:
Semester 1 – Monday 30 November till Friday 18 December
Semester 2 – Monday 5 April till Friday 21 May
During the extended hours, you will be able to study and use PC Caledonia. There will only be security staff on duty, so you will not be able to borrow books and there will be no Enquiry Service or help with IT.
You have been asking for longer hours for a few years, so we are pleased that we have obtained funding for this year. We will be monitoring how and when you use these extended hours, and if it’s well-used we hope we can provide longer opening in future years.
