Study, modern working practices, social work – and other new books in the Library

Added to the library recently were books on study, modern working practices, social work, and several other topics.

Selected titles added to the Edinburgh campus library at Riccarton include a copy of The good study guide, by Andrew Northedge, and a copy of The new workplace: a guide to the human impact of modern working practices, edited by David Holman and others.

About the The good study guide: “Whether you are an experienced student or just starting out this book will stimulate, guide and support you. It will make you think about yourself and how your mind learns. And it will change forever the way that you study. A number of new titles were added to the library at Galashiels, including copies of the second edition of A textbook of social work, by Brian Sheldon and Geraldine Macdonald.
