This excellent service was formerly available in an incomplete version only to visitors to the Institute of Petreoleum Engineering on the Riccarton campus. Now it is available to all staff and students of Heriot-Watt University wherever they are.
Petroleum Abstracts is the abstracts service covering publications on upstream petroleum engineering, published by the University of Tulsa. It is one of the most thorough and up-to-date abstracting services published on any topic. Over 30,000 abstracts are added annually. The coverage is international and includes patents as well as the periodical and conference literature; the scope “petroleum exploration and production” is interpreted broadly and includes offshore technology and related technology since 1961.
